A bit about me

Before becoming a counsellor and psychotherapist I was first a tradesperson, then an educationalist, and finally an executive coach. Over the years I have gained significant professional insight into the public, private, and charity sectors.

Inspired by my personal experience of the transformative power of psychotherapy, I completed my Diploma in Integrative Psychodynamic Counselling and my MSc [Distinction] in Integrative Psychotherapy at the internationally renowned Metanoia Institute in London. I continue to routinely participate in professional development and have regular clinical supervision to reflect on my practice.

I believe in the healing power of connection with others, with nature, and with the self.

I am a Full Clinical Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP Membership No. 2011184237) and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy [BACP Membership No. 382710].

My practice is underpinned by the codes of ethics of both the UKCP and BACP.
